A man based in Canada has set a new Guinness World Record after wearing a massive beard of bees for more than an hour.

The new record holder is Juan Carlos Noguez Ortiz, a worker of a honeybee farm in Ontario.

He beat the previous record by almost eight minutes, claiming the record for himself on the 31st of August.

After pulling off the stunt, Ortiz admitted that he is merely a beginner, having tried it out only twice before setting the record.

Dickey Bee Honey Inc. brought in 100,000 bees for the stunt, which was filmed to promote Blood Honey, a new psychological thriller film.
